"I was born in 1986. I've lived my entire life in Lima, although my family is originally from Trujillo. I'm an artist, primarily working in drawing, sculpture, and photography. I'm also interested in education and have been working as an art teacher for several years. I love traveling. As a child, I often traveled with my parents on work trips. This allowed me to explore many cities in my country. I haven't been to Vienna, but I'd really like to meet some of its inhabitants through this project."
Embrace was a tetralogy realized in close collaboration with Hansel Sato, composed of Knowing , Know , Understanding , and Learning , a project that brought together people from the multiethnic Sandleitenhof residential complex in Vienna with people from various districts of multicultural Lima. Begun remotely in December 2013, it culminated in Vienna between May 17 and 31. It integrated mail art, public space interventions, installations, exchanges, and performance.
Abrazar was part of the XIII SOHO in Ottakring Festival, held in May 2014 in the Sandleiten neighborhood, district 16 of the city of Vienna, Austria, curated by Ula Schneider and Hansel Sato.
