"I studied anthropology, now working in the municipality of the city, in an area that is responsible for resolving social conflicts in formulating and delivering road infrastructure. In areas neglected by the city authorities. So for work I'm learning little by little a vast and diverse city, because this work I have been really surprised when I realized that one seems to move in the same places over and over again, when the cities in which we currently live usually appear to be endless, filled with new people and places. Through these letters I would like to share a little of this experience throughout my city and why not encourage you to show me how diverse yours should be.."
Embrace was a tetralogy realized in close collaboration with Hansel Sato, composed of Knowing , Know , Understanding , and Learning , a project that brought together people from the multiethnic Sandleitenhof residential complex in Vienna with people from various districts of multicultural Lima. Begun remotely in December 2013, it culminated in Vienna between May 17 and 31. It integrated mail art, public space interventions, installations, exchanges, and performance.
Abrazar was part of the XIII SOHO in Ottakring Festival, held in May 2014 in the Sandleiten neighborhood, district 16 of the city of Vienna, Austria, curated by Ula Schneider and Hansel Sato.
