Plastic artist ( see work ), graduated from the specialty of painting at the Faculty of Art PUCP. P articipa in To know .
"I am a Peruvian plastic artist. I live in Lima and I am 24 years old. My hobbies are painting, dancing and cooking. I have learned, thanks to the" Saber "project, that you also like to cook. That is why I am writing to you, to to know if you might be interested in exchanging recipes with me. I am interested in salty and sweet food, and I can provide you with recipes of Peruvian food, which is being successful in the world lately. You may wonder why I have German names being Peruvian. It is because my great-grandfather was German and came to Peru a long time ago and had children with my great-grandmother, who is a native of Ancash (highlands of Peru),
and my grandfather and dad are from there too. And everyone (great-grandfather, grandfather and dad) was called 'Otto Elsner' ... and, I don't know, maybe they wanted to carry on the tradition of a German name. On the other hand, my mother and all my maternal family are from the jungle of Peru, and our ancestry comes from the Amazon. I want to recommend you anyway, that you take a trip to our jungle. It is a very beautiful region. Perhaps that is why I have been lucky since I was a child, to try and learn different foods from these regions of my country.
TACACHO WITH CESINE:
"Tacacho" is fried squashed fried plantain. The plantains that are used for the "Tacacho" are the rogue, long and green plantains. This is a special kind of banana
The Banana Smash: You can smash and flatten the bananas with a spoon or a kitchen stone. With these crushed bananas a ball is formed.
Roasted "Cesina": "Cesina" is a roast pig (a wild pig from the jungle called "Sajino"). Before roasting the "Sajino", the meat must be dried and smoked. "Cesina" and "Tacacho" are served together, accompanied by salad and sour lemons.
Here I send you two photos of well-known Peruvian foods. Both are recipes from the north of Peru (coast). -'Choritos a la chalaca ': Seafood with corn, onion, tomato and lemon (which is more acidic here). -'Lomo Saltado ': Beef, with fried potato, onion, tomato and rice ".
